iWood Eco Designer Sunglasses

Wow! These sunglasses are snazzy. I was searching around for sunglasses today when I came upon these beauties. They are a bit interesting. They are created by a company called iWood that specializes in designing eco friendly sunglasses from sustainable and high quality materials. All of their glasses are designed with exotic wood veneer, and the temples are fully adjustable and imported from Italy.

They are quite an amazing product, but they are a bit pricey. I don’t know if I would personally spend that much on sunglasses, but if someone does they can rest assured that these glasses were created with the environment in mind.

Recycled Material Bags

I just LOVE these bags! They are a fantastic source of inspiration to me. They make me want to learn how to sew. I’ve always been a bit interested in it. I actually found these today, and started looking into a sewing class. Finding these types of beautifully designed eco products really inspires me.

I found these bags at Ecoist is a company that specializes in creating bags and other accessories with recycled materials. Some of their bags are created with recycled maps, newspapers, aluminum, and candy wrappers. My personal favorite is the confetti designs.

My View

This is what I have been looking at these past two weeks during the day. I have a fabulous view from my work area. I absolutely love the seafront, and I love that I get to look at it while I am working. It does get a bit cold since our work area is out in the open, but at least we have heat lamps and tents to stay out of the wind if it gets too strong. Looking out into the sea makes me smile, but I suppose most beautiful landscapes make me smile.

ECOVER Ecological Detergents And Cleansers

Ecover is an international company dedicated to the production of ecologically friendly detergents and cleaning products. It was originally started in Belgium by Mr. Jørgen Philip-Sørensen, but is now well known and sold in over 20 countries. Ecover prides itself on using sustainable and eco-friendly processes not only in their product range but in all aspects of their business departments as well. The company actually established the world’s first ecological factory, which has a green roof extending over more than 6000m².

Additionally, Ecover has won 16 prestigious awards for their sustainability practices and products. Some of the awards include the 2002 Golden Bridge Award, UK, 1999 Corporate Conscience Award, USA, and the 1993 Global 500 Roll of Honour, United Nations.

Wow! I just absolutely love this company. I found out about them when we moved to Brighton about and month and a half ago. I typically like to make my own cleaning products, but found myself in a bind when I had to quickly clean our new flat before we could start unpacking boxes. Yes, the previous tenants were gross. I found this brand at Sainsbury, and became quite interested in it. I bought the company’s toilet bowl cleanser, multipurpose cleaner, dish soap, and laundry detergent. I was not disappointed. Their products clean very effectively, and they leave the room smelling fabulous. I certainly recommend giving them a try.

Fentimans Botanically Brewed Drinks

These fermented drinks are amazing. I found them at Food Stuff while I was stocking up on UBUNTU. These were directly above the cola. I actually didn’t know they were alcoholic, but it’s not that much. The alcoholic content is 0.5% for each bottle.

Fentimans drinks are botanically brewed in a simple process involving herbs and plant roots. They have drinks ranging from colas to the more exotic Victorian Lemonade and Dandelion and Burdock mixes. They are both fantastic by the way. I think most of them are a form of ginger beer.

I certainly recommend them. My favorite is the Dandelion and Burdock drink.
