Impressive Candy Images by Chris Stewart

I discovered Chris Stewart’s photography a bit ago, and I just couldn’t stop smiling. He has a very fascinating body of work, and I absolutely adore his Candy images. They are just so funky and colorful. The yellow gummy bear looks quite epic as well. I don’t know how else to describe it. These little candy bits are certainly portrayed in a different light in his images. I really hope he does more of these. I would call it satirical, maybe. Most of them quite humorous, twizzler one is fascinating. but overall, definitely great use of bold colours.

  They are absolutely lovely. I’m thinking about making a series of abstract paintings in candy colored themes. These have really opened up a can of works for me.

Reminds me of a word play my daughter created from Kids Magnetic Poetry:

“Candy is better in my eye than on my hips…”
